Our partners
The central Maine mission is not some group going its own way. Instead we are deeply connected with the larger church so that we might be constantly challenged to remain faithful to Christ and encouraged in our work.
Christ the Redeemer Presbyterian Church
We are a work of Christ the Redeemer Presbyterian Church in Portland, Maine. Christ the Redeemer and its officers will provide the oversight and guidance for the central Maine mission until we are ready to elect our own officers as a church.

Northern New England Presbytery
Christ the Redeemer is undertaking the work of beginning the central Maine mission under the authority of the Northern New England Presbytery. This is the regional body of the Presbyterian Church in America that covers Maine, Vermont, and New Hampshire. The churches and elders of the Presbytery provide the oversight and counsel necessary for Christ the Redeemer and the central Maine mission.

Mission to North America (MNA)
These partners rely upon Mission to North America, the agency of the Presbyterian Church in America responsible for church planting in the US, to provide assessment, training, support, and coaching. Per & Beth Almquist, the lead planters, have been approved by MNA as church planters.
