me as a minister of the gospel to speak God’s truth authoritatively. Where the
Scriptures speak, I must clearly articulate what it says. Where the Scriptures are
silent, I must not venture a voice. The gospel must be the central focus of my
mission for it is the central theme of the whole Bible."
